FAQ

The most common questions about appointments, examinations and treatments.

Appointments and examination

How can I book an appointment?

You can request an appointment by phone (+90 540 001 74 66) or on WhatsApp. The appointment form on the site prepares your message for WhatsApp.

What happens at the first visit?

Your concerns and expectations are discussed, your mouth is examined and X-rays are taken if needed. The options are explained with their benefits and limits, and the agreed plan is given to you in writing.

Why are treatment fees not listed on the site?

Turkish regulations on healthcare advertising do not allow fees to be published for promotional purposes. Each treatment plan is also individual. Fees are given after the examination, together with the written plan.

I am afraid of the dentist. What can I do?

Simply mention it when you book or at the start of the visit. Every step is explained beforehand, and you can pause whenever you wish. Local anaesthesia is given as comfortably as possible.

Where is the practice and how do I get there?

The practice is in the Liman neighbourhood of Konyaaltı, Atatürk Bulvarı No:246, on the 2nd floor. The nearest bus stop is Akdeniz Bulvarı, about 180 metres away.

What are the opening hours?

Monday to Friday 09:00 to 19:00, Saturday 10:00 to 15:00. Closed on Sundays.

What should I do if I have urgent toothache?

Call +90 540 001 74 66 during opening hours and describe your situation. If you have rapidly growing facial swelling or difficulty swallowing or breathing, go to the nearest emergency department without delay.

About treatments

Are teeth cut down for smile design?

Not always. In many cases methods that need no drilling, such as whitening and composite veneers, are enough. Even when porcelain veneers are needed, usually only a very thin layer of the outer surface is removed. How much intervention is needed becomes clear after the examination.

What is the difference between composite and porcelain veneers?

Composite veneers are made in the mouth, usually without drilling and in a single visit, and can easily be repaired. Porcelain veneers are made in a laboratory and keep their colour and shine longer, but they usually need a thin surface reduction and several visits.

Zirconia or porcelain veneers?

These two options meet different needs. For changing the colour and shape of healthy front teeth, veneers are often enough. If a tooth has a large filling, a fracture or a root canal treatment, a full crown may be needed. The decision is made after the examination, based on the condition of the tooth.

Is implant treatment painful?

The implant is placed under local anaesthesia. Mild swelling and sensitivity may follow for a few days; this is usually controlled with the recommended medication.

Does whitening damage teeth?

It is considered safe when done under a dentist's supervision, with gel of a suitable strength and the right timing. The most common side effect is temporary sensitivity. Products used without supervision can irritate the gums.

Is root canal treatment painful?

The treatment is done under local anaesthesia, and you should not feel pain during the procedure. Most patients notice that the pain they had before goes away after treatment.
